An experienced media management professional, Basant in his earlier media planning stint worked at agencies such as Ogilvy, Mudra, Mindshare and Madison, where he planned and bought media for leading brands across diverse categories, from chocolates to automobiles.
Basant Rathore, Senior VP – Strategic Planning, Brand & Business Development at Jagran Prakashan Ltd, joins the prestigious Jury panel for Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022.
In his earlier stint with media planning, Basant worked at agencies such as Ogilvy, Mudra, Mindshare and Madison, where he planned and bought media for leading brands across diverse categories, ranging from chocolates to automobiles.
He has also conducted over 30 media workshops for working professionals and has taught Media Management at MICA for over 10 years as a visiting faculty. He has also conducted lectures at XIM Bhubaneshwar, IMT Ghaziabad, Flame University, Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communications, and at Bennett University.
The Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2022 contest, which is well under way and is in its last leg of entries, has drawn good response and participation across 7 different award categories and 20+ sub-categories.
Winners of OAA 2022 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on August 18, 2022 evening, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
