OWNA starts 2022 with strong momentum as new customer wins signal strength of platform offer


OWNA, the all-in-one child care management software provider, will start the year with solid momentum having signed up multiple leading medium sized early childhood education and care (ECEC) providers across 2021 in a sign that a period of significant organisational investment and platform development are starting to pay off. 

 

“2021 was a very busy year for us as OWNA as we invested heavily in the business itself as well as the platform to ensure that we were in a strong position to be able to service any ECEC provider, regardless of size or setting, across Australia,” Kheang Ly, Founder and CEO said.

 

“I am pleased to confirm that a string of important customer wins in late 2021, one of which has a network of over thirty services, would suggest that our investment first strategy is certainly starting to pay off.”

 

“Looking ahead it is pleasing we are starting 2022 with such good momentum and we look forward very much to engaging with more providers as the year progresses.”

 

Young Academics, Oxanda and Yarra Ranges latest providers to join OWNA family

 

2022 will start busy for OWNA as it plans to onboard a host of new customer wins including Young Academics, Oxanda and Yarra Ranges all of which have networks of between twenty and thirty services each and operate across different settings. 

 

“It’s really exciting to welcome these providers to the OWNA family,” Kheang said, “as they not only represent the long day care space but also the preschool space too.”

 

Young Academics and Oxanda provide long day care services across multiple eastern seaboard states and Yarra Ranges is a council run operation that provides predominantly preschool services in Victoria.  

 

“It is essential that OWNA is able to support all different types of providers. Our platform is dynamic and intuitive and lends itself to the differing needs of the ECEC community so it is especially heartening to see us partnering with an ever wider mix of providers.”

 

Investment across the business has created the foundation for sustained growth 

 

Despite a year of lockdown OWNA invested heavily in 2021, deepening its management, development and support teams capabilities and continuing to roll out a huge number of new features on the OWNA platform. 

 

In particular the support team has more than tripled in size as OWNA continues to deliver sector leading customer service in the wake of recent growth but also to ensure that the team has been scaled sufficiently to support OWNA’s ambitious growth plans for 2022. 

 

Notably, OWNA added over 250 new features via update in 2021 which is not only testament to the extraordinary level of commitment to continuous improvement that is evident across the organisation but also ensures that the platform is always evolving to meet the shifting needs of the sector. 

 

And finally, 2021 saw the launch of OWNA’s very own new business management platform, WORKR, which has been designed to act as a complementary resource for OWNA users who are looking for support in payroll management and other business focused areas.
