Illinois State University conferred approximately 956 baccalaureate degrees and 240 graduate degrees at the Winter 2021 Commencement. This year, the University allowed Redbirds to celebrate an in-person commencement ceremony and a personalized Redbird Stage Crossing. Redbirds shared their winter commencement experiences throughout social media all weekend long. Check out this year’s round-up of some of the best tweets, Instagram posts, and photos to see why Illinois State is #RedbirdProud of our newest alums.
It was so nice to see so many of our #Gradbird students being hooded tonight. I loved the chance to be back in person to celebrate their accomplishments with them, faculty, staff, and families. Thanks to everyone in @ISUGradSchool who helped pull it off! #RedbirdProud

As ISU’s December graduates are being recognized, we’d like to give a shout-out to our own Annie Weaver. She earned her doctoral degree through ISU’s Department of Educational Administration and Foundations. Congratulations, Dr. Weaver! #RedbirdProud pic.twitter.com/QexVAhhY3W
